Gård Vintners wines are 100% estate grown sustainably at Lawrence Vineyards, featuring 14 distinct vineyard sites. With elevations that range 870 feet to 1,675 feet and primarily south-facing slopes, Lawrence Vineyards provide a great framework for grape production, while the diversity of each of the locations delivers a high level of complexity to Gård wines. With a beautiful orange hue, the 2021 Tigre begins with ripe stone fruit, wet stones, hibiscus flower, and earthy aromas. Swirling brings rock melon, orange peel, and baking spices.

The mouthfeel is mouthwatering, full bodied, and extremely layered. The mid palate is dense and rich, but with remarkable acidity and great structure to back it up. Very generous, with tons of stone fruit, cantaloupe, and dried herb flavors, there is also a funkiness and earthiness attached to it. Fun and playful, the wine finishes long, with fantastic texture and a great combination of sweet and savory. Beautiful now, you can enjoy this unorthodox orange-style Pinot Gris in the next 12 years.

Whole cluster barrel fermented in neutral 500L puncheons. Light pressing post-fermentation into neutral 500L puncheons. Aged for 16 months in neutral oak.
