Vineyard: Corfu Crossing

Gård Vintners wines are 100% estate grown sustainably at Lawrence Vineyards, featuring 14 distinct vineyard sites. With elevations that range 870 feet to 1,675 feet and primarily south-facing slopes, Lawrence Vineyards provide a great framework for grape production, while the diversity of each of the locations delivers a high level of complexity to Gård wines. Deep gold in color, the wine begins with Manuka honey, ginger, dried mango, and lemon curd. Swirling brings candied stone fruits, orange marmalade, cardamom, and flambéed pineapple.

The mouthfeel is full-bodied but remarkably balanced, with dense texture and lifted acidity. The mid-palate is filled with caramelized stone and tropical fruits, but there are also spicy and balsamic tones towards the end. Beautifully sweet and complex, the wine finishes extremely long with a kiss of citrus and a touch of sea salt. Drink now or in the next 50 years.
